In both imatinib‐sensitive and imatinib‐resistant GIST cell lines, treatment with the specific ACK1 inhibitor AIM‐100 or ACK1 siRNA significantly inhibits cell migration, which correlates with the inactivation of the PI3K/AKT/mTOR and RAF/MAPK signalling pathways [24].
