CRP and Zinc deficiency: In terms of IBD-related ER visits, young age (p = 0.006), shorter disease duration (p < 0.005), zinc deficiency (p < 0.001), high CRP (p < 0.001), high FCP (p < 0.001), low albumin (p < 0.001), and corticosteroids (p = 0.002) were predictive risk factors, but only low albumin (OR 4.56, 95% CI 1.81–11.52, p = 0.001) was independently associated with IBD-related ER visits of multivariable analysis (Supplementary Table S2).
