Collectively, findings from related conditions—such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and traumatic brain injury—suggest that targeted dietary modulation may offer complementary benefits for managing metabolic and neurodegenerative dysfunction in SPG11 [3,14,26]. This evidence concerns the gene SPG11 and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
