In a study by Oxnard et al., patients with EGFR T790M-positive NSCLC (n = 58) treated with osimertinib showed similar efficacy whether the mutation was identified in plasma or tumor tissue, with ORR of 63% and 62%, and mPFS of 9.7 months in both groups [38].
