NMSC risk with anti-TNF therapy is less clear; a systematic review of nearly 300,000 IBD patients reported a 17.8% NMSC rate, consistent with the general population [66], whereas Swedish registry data indicate an elevated risk of basal cell carcinoma (HR = 1.62; 95% CI 1.21–2.03) [65].
