NPPB and cardiac amyloidosis: Analyses of established risk factors for cardiac amyloidosis in Cluster 1 and 2 revealed that individuals assigned to the unfavorable Cluster 2 were significantly older and had significantly higher levels of high-sensitivity troponin T (hsTNT) and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), as well as pronounced myocardial hypertrophy, as indicated by elevated posterior wall (PW) and intraventricular septum (IVS) thickness.
