Genes such as IKZF1, CDKN2B, TET2, CYP1B1, PTPN6, HOPX, SMIM24, and PPP1R10, which play key roles in the regulation of hematopoietic processes, commonly exhibit altered methylation patterns in ALL [5,26,39,41]. The gene discussed is HOPX; the disease is acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
