INS and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis: Zheng et al. [108] confirmed that ursolic acid (UA) can alleviate palmitic acid (PA)-induced lipid accumulation, mitochondrial dysfunction, and oxidative stress by regulating capric acid; it can also improve insulin resistance, a core pathogenesis of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), through decorin (DCN)-mediated regulation of the insulin-like growth factor I receptor (IGF-IR) signaling pathway.
