In conclusion, our research showed that aerobic exercise down-regulated miR-34a, and up-regulated the levels of PPARα and SIRT1 which then affected fatty acid oxidation-related genes CPT1, CPT2, and fatty acid transportation-related genes SLC27A1, SLC27A4 transcription, thereby ameliorated hepatic steatosis. The gene discussed is SLC27A1; the disease is fatty liver disease.
