To gain insight into the possible involvement of the miR-34a-PPARα pathway in hepatic steatosis alleviation induced by treadmill exercise, several key target genes of PPARα downstream that involved in fatty acid oxidation and fatty acid transport were examined by qPCR and western blot, including CPT1, CPT2, SLC27A1, and SLC27A4, and the results were shown in (Fig 3D). This evidence concerns the gene CPT2 and fatty liver disease.
