The AML mutation spectrum discovered in this study is consistent with previous reports (18, 19), including reproducible alterations in FLT3, WT1, NRAS, KRAS, and ARID1A genes, as well as other rare mutant genes in AML (DNMT3A, TET2, ASXL1, and IDH1/2). This evidence concerns the gene TET2 and acute myeloid leukemia.
