Patients with AWGC-defined cachexia had higher proportions of hypoalbuminemia (45.00% vs. 20.66%; p < 0.001), CRP > 5 mg/L (40.62% vs. 11.07%; p < 0.001), anemia (60.62% vs. 31.73%; p < 0.001), low grip strength (38.75% vs. 5.90%; p < 0.001), and anorexia (78.12% vs. 12.92%; p < 0.001).
