Here, we investigated this by utilizing the unique dynamic single‐cell eQTL datasets from Soskic et al, which have eQTLs of CD4+ T cell at five different activation time points (resting [0 h], lowly active [LA], before dividing [16 h], after the first cell division [40 h] and after acquiring effector functions [5 d].[65] Of 207 cancer‐linked genes, 75 (37%) were identified in the resting state [0 h], but 130 (63%) of the identified genes were only detectable after T cell activation (Figure5A,B). Here, CD4 is linked to cancer.
