OTOF and auditory neuropathy: The distortion product otoacoustic emission responses in both Otofp.R1934Q/p.R1934Q and Otof+/p.R1934Q mice were not significantly different from wild-type mice, except at 16 kHz for Otofp.R1934Q/p.R1934Q, and were above noise levels at all frequencies, replicating the auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder phenotype of DFNB9 (Fig. 1A).
