CKM and kidney disorder: A growing body of evidence has confirmed a significant association between the red cell distribution width-to-albumin ratio (RAR) and CKM-related risk factors such as kidney disease and cardiovascular disease.[17,19–21] A recent analysis based on the NHANES demonstrated that RAR is significantly associated with mortality risk in the general population.[22] However, the relationship between RAR and mortality risk among individuals with CKM stages 1 to 4 has not been fully elucidated.
