To further investigate whether the previously identified stemness-related genes (DPPA4 and PSMA7) could sustain seminoma cell stemness and counteract IFN-γ-induced differentiation, we overexpressed DPPA4 and PSMA7 individually in Tcam-2 cells and compared their response to IFN-γ treatment with that of control cells (Fig. 6l, m). The gene discussed is PSMA7; the disease is seminoma.
