Almost all endometrial carcinosarcomas, show a TP53-mutated/copy number-high molecular profile based on the TCGA (The Cancer Genome Atlas)-derived molecular classification for endometrial carcinoma, while a few may exhibit copy number-low/no-special-molecular profile (NSMP), microsatellite instable (MSI-H)/mismatch repair protein-deficient (MMRd) or POLE-mutated molecular profiles [5,6,8,10,11]. The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is endometrial carcinoma.
