In addition to the poor CD8+ T cell response observed in a wide variety of models due to the lack of cDC1‐dependent antigen cross‐presentation [152], Th1 differentiation upon infection with Candida albicans, Leishmania major or Toxoplasma gondii is impaired in those mice, likely reflecting their high IL‐12 production capacity [79, 80, 81], whereas Th2 differentiation upon infection with helminth parasites Schistosoma mansoni or Heligmosomoides polygyrus is enhanced [78].
