To expand upon these findings, we examined TCGA PanCancer Atlas datasets25 and identified CMTR2 mutations at notable frequencies in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (32/529 cases, 6.0%), LADC (32/566 cases, 5.7%), and cutaneous melanoma (25/448 cases, 5.6%) (Fig. 1i). This evidence concerns the gene CMTR2 and cutaneous melanoma.
