Cemiplimab (a PD-1 inhibitor) is approved internationally as a first-line treatment for patients with advanced NSCLC with a PD-L1 expression level of ≥50%, as well as in combination with platinum-based chemotherapy for patients with advanced NSCLC with no epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK), or c-ros oncogene 1 (ROS1) genomic aberrations (5–8).
