As seen in Figure 3A and B, The levels of 5‐HT3R, BK, HA, SP, TGF‐β1, ICAM‐1, and TNF‐α expression in the serum and uterus of E. coli‐ and S. aureus‐induced rats with PID was significantly higher than that of the control group, and IL‐2 levels were notably lower than that of the control group (all p < 0.01), whereas EA at CV4 reversed these changes (all p < 0.01). Here, IL2 is linked to pelvic inflammatory disease.
