Following 4 h of infection, metabolic analysis of NLRP3 KO J774A.1 cells revealed a pronounced reduction in the utilization of uniformly labeled 13C6-glucose for glycolytic metabolite production, such as fructose 1,6-bisphosphate M+6 and 3-phosphoglyceric acid M+3, whereas glucose 6-phosphate M+6 and fructose 6-phosphate M+6 showed no difference between parental and NLRP3 KO cells after infection (Fig. 5E).
