Phosphofurin acidic cluster sorting protein 2 (PACS‐2) is a key MAM regulator, implicated in diseases such as obesity, Alzheimer's disease, and diabetic nephropathy.[13] Xue et al.[14] reported that PACS‐2 overexpression stabilizes MAMs and reduces apoptosis in renal tubular epithelial cells. Here, PACS2 is linked to Alzheimer disease.
