CCND1 and neoplasm: Interestingly, in line with our survival results, Wong et al. [27] reported that Cyclin D1 overexpression might unexpectedly be associated with a more favorable prognosis, whereas Pauser et al. [20] found no significant relationship between Cyclin D1 expression and major prognostic factors such as tumor size, mitotic activity, nuclear atypia, or proliferative index.
