The results demonstrated that the protein (Figs. 4A–4C) and mRNA (Figs. 4D, 4E) levels of NFE2L1 and GPX4 were significantly increased in tumor tissues, whereas the ferroptosis marker proteins PTGS2, and CHAC1 were expressed at low levels in tumor tissues (Figs. 4F–4H), however, SLC7A11 exhibited significant overexpression in tumor tissues (Fig. 4I).
