Higher gene expression levels of VEGFR-2 are associated with a significant decrease in overall survival for TNBC breast cancer patients (Fig. 1a); however, for breast cancer subtypes with ER+ and any PR/HER2 statuses, there appears to be no significant difference in survival times with respect to VEGFR-2 levels (Fig. 1b). The gene discussed is PGR; the disease is breast carcinoma.
