In CELSR2-shRNA-transfected U87 MG cells and CELSR2-shRNA-transfected Grade 3 primary glioma cells (CELSR2 KD), the expression of CELSR2 mRNA was significantly downregulated compared to the vector (pLVX-shRNA1-ZsGreen-puro)-transfected cells (control), but still higher than that in normal astrocytes (CP-H122) (Fig. 2A, Supplementary Fig. 2C). Here, CELSR2 is linked to central nervous system cancer.
