In the ATRA-treated cells from the APL patient, this markedly diminished the protein expression levels of TNF-α, IL-1β, and MCP-1, as well as the gene expression levels of TG2 and p65, while enhancing IκB. These findings suggest that 25(OH)D3 may be a viable treatment for DS and ICH. The gene discussed is TGM2; the disease is acute promyelocytic leukemia.
