GNB1 and breast cancer: Guanine nucleotide-binding protein beta-1 (GNB1)is a component of heterotrimeric guanine nucleotide-binding proteins(G-proteins), and this class of signaling components are linked tocancer hallmarks and in establishing their tumor microenvironment. Overexpression of GNB1 was also observed incervical squamous cell carcinoma, lung cancer cells, and hepatocellularcarcinoma (HCC) tissues as opposed to adjacent normal cells and tissues.,, Within the context of BC, GNB1expression was significantly higher in cancer tissues compared tonormal glandular tissues in paired samples.
