Notably, low GBP2 expression is associated with poor prognosis and increased metastasis in colorectal cancer, while elevated GBP2 levels are linked to worse survival in patients with glioma, glioblastoma, clear cell renal cell carcinoma, pancreatic adenocarcinoma, bladder cancer, and cutaneous melanoma (6, 13, 14, 83–87).
