Meta-analysis showed that HIIT significantly reduced BNP and NT-proBNP levels in patients with heart failure compared with the control group (SMD = −1.33, 95% CI: −2.55∼−0.11, P = 0.03), while it had no significant effect on the level of CRP (SMD = −0.08, 95% CI: −0.33∼0.18, P = 0.56), TNF-α (MD = −0.11, 95% CI: −0.29∼0.08, P = 0.26), and IL-6 (MD = 0.3, 95% CI: −1.95∼2.55, P = 0.8). The gene discussed is CRP; the disease is heart failure.
