Walnut leaf ethanolic extract ameliorated acute inflammation and arthritis in rats by increasing the levels of blood IL‐4, besides attenuating TNF‐α, NF‐κB, IL‐6, IL‐16, COX‐2, and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) amounts in blood, which resulted in reduced paw edema and arthritic development (Mobashar et al. 2022). The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is arthritic joint disease.
