Protein trajectories exhibited distinct metabolic modulation (Figures 4C–F): While non-MetS patients demonstrated marginal increases in total protein (Δ = +1.20 g/L, p = 0.071) and prealbumin (Δ = +5.29 mg/L, p = 0.082), MetS counterparts showed paradoxical declines (Δ = -0.84 g/L, p = 0.282; Δ = -2.74 mg/L, p = 0.443), with significant interaction effects for total protein (F = 4.05, p = 0.049) and borderline prealbumin interaction (F = 2.98, p = 0.089). Here, TTR is linked to metabolic syndrome.
