Bioinformatics analysis of effective biomarkers in type 2 diabetes with cognitive impairment and aging indicates that the genes TP53 and IL1B may play a potential role in influencing the progression of type 2 diabetes associated with cognitive impairment and aging through the Lipid and atherosclerosis, MAPK signaling, and fluid shear stress and atherosclerosis signaling pathways (72). This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and atherosclerosis.
