Soluble endoglin (sENG), a circulating fragment of the transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β) co-receptor CD105/endoglin (ENG), profoundly influences angiogenesis, inflammation, and fibrosis, establishing it as a vital biomarker for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), cancer, preeclampsia, and vascular disorders1–7. Here, ENG is linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis.
