NPPB and hydrops fetalis: In most real‐world settings, including the RESHAPE‐HF2, EXPANDed, and MiCLASP studies, SMR severity is assessed in the clinical context: patients were characterized with respect to clinical symptoms, a history of HF, laboratory values (e.g. NT‐proBNP), followed by TTE and TOE and finally right heart catheterizations (e.g. v‐wave of the pulmonary capillary wedge pressure).
