A reduction in neutrophil infiltration, a decrease in the number of inducible nitric oxide synthase‐positive cells, a decline in the expression of inflammation‐related signals, a mitigation of brain edema in the peri‐hematoma area, an increase in vascular density and migration ability were noted. Moreover, improvements were noted in motor function recovery, alleviation of spatial learning and memory impairment, and a reduction in brain atrophy. The gene discussed is NOS2; the disease is memory impairment.
