In contrast, YXXYZ was more strongly associated with pathways linked to myocardial injury and fibrosis, including dilated cardiomyopathy, TGF-β signaling, calcium signaling pathway, and PI3K-Akt signaling pathway, suggesting a more severe involvement of cardiac impairment and fibrotic remodeling (Luczak et al., 2020; Ruiz-Villalba et al., 2020; Ouwerkerk et al., 2023). Here, TGFB1 is linked to dilated cardiomyopathy.
