NR3C2 and heart failure: Within this spectrum, heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) has undergone a therapeutic transformation with the advent of four cornerstone drug classes: angiotensin receptor–neprilysin inhibitors (ARNIs), or alternatively angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEis) or angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs); beta-blockers (BBs); mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists (MRAs); and sodium–glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT2is) [3,4].
