Healthy controls had relatively higher abundances of resting memory CD4+ T cells (p = 0.002), resting natural killer (NK) cells (p = 0.013), and monocytes (p = 0.031), whereas NSCLC patients exhibited increased levels of plasma cells (p = 0.008), CD8+ T cells (p = 0.025), and activated memory CD4+ T cells (p = 0.004). This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
