Our earlier work confirmed that PAX6 expression is reduced in gliomas tissues and that its overexpression inhibits glioma cell proliferation and invasion [17]; however, the molecular mechanism by which PAX6 regulates malignant phenotypes in the glioma microenvironment has not been fully elucidated, as PAX6 exhibits functional heterogeneity across different tumor types. This evidence concerns the gene PAX6 and neoplasm.
