Results: The results showed that PAX6 inhibited HIF-1α expression by regulating the levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS); overexpression of PAX6 promoted the expression of ROS and lipid peroxides (LPOs) in glioma cells and decreased the expression of intracellular antioxidant systems glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4) and glutathione (GSH). The gene discussed is PAX6; the disease is central nervous system cancer.
