Previously, our research team and other researchers demonstrated a correlation between ApoB48 and metabolic disorders, such as postprandial hyperlipidaemia and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease [12,13], and postprandial hyperlipidaemia is also an important cause of ASCVD, which may represent a new target for treating hyperlipidaemia. This evidence concerns the gene APOB and hyperlipidemia.
