NFKB1 and Ureteral obstruction: An increase in histone H3 acetylation during ureteral obstruction in young rats may be caused by the activation of NF-kB and the recruitment of HAT-coactivators p300/CBP, which may be confirmed by a decrease in H3 acetylation and TNF-α expression upon inhibition of p300 in the UUO model [89].
