BCR and Burkitt lymphoma: In this section, the best-known deviations in glycosylation patterns in B cell malignancies will be described, focusing on (1) the acquired high mannose N-glycans in the B cell receptor (BCR) of malignant B cells, (2) the elevated levels of the glycosphingolipid globotriasosylceramide (Gb3/CD77) in Burkitt’s lymphoma (BL), and (3) hypersialylation in B cell lymphoma.
