High p73/high p53 expression was observed in 228/1188 (19.1%) tumours and strongly associated with high-grade, dedifferentiation, pleomorphism, high mitotic index, lymphovascular invasion, high-risk Nottingham Prognostic Index (NPI), stage 3 disease, HER-2+, ER negative, PR negative and triple-negative breast cancers (TNBCs) (all p-values ≤ 0.01) (Table 3).
