p53 positivity was significantly associated with features characteristic of aggressive behaviour, including high-grade, dedifferentiation, pleomorphism, high mitotic index, lymphovascular invasion, high-risk Nottingham Prognostic Index (NPI), HER-2+, ER negative, and triple-negative breast cancers (TNBCs) (all p-values ≤ 0.01) (Table 3). This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and triple-negative breast carcinoma.
