Notably, Lp-PLA2 activity was higher in the CAS group than that in the non-CAS group (563 ± 168 U/L vs. 554 ± 156 U/L, p = 0.53), although no significant differences were observed in the prevalence of MASLD, metabolic syndrome, or ASCVD.
