SMARCA4 and posterior cortical atrophy: Recent proteomic approaches such as rapid immunoprecipitation mass spectrometry of endogenous protein (86) in BrCa and PCa have consistently identified BAF complex proteins significantly enriched in various NR complexes; ERα associated with other NRs (RARs/RXRs) and SMARCC1, SMARCA4, and SMARCA5 (87); AR with SMARCC1 and SMARCA4 (88); vitamin D receptor (VDR) with BAZ1A (which interacts with SMARCA5) (89); and NR1B3/RARγ with AR, SMARCC1, SMARCA4, and SMARCA5 (M.J.C., unpublished observations).
