ANXA5 and neoplasm: Badr et al. [38] demonstrated that Walterinnesia aegyptia venom, particularly when conjugated with silica NPs, significantly inhibited tumor growth in BALB/c mice bearing MDA-MB-231 xenografts, with enhanced apoptotic activity confirmed through Annexin V/PI and JC-1 assays, and modulation of pro- and anti-apoptotic protein expression.
