There was a small, but statistically insignificant, decrease in TCF1 expression when comparing activated CD44+ CD8 T cells of Bcl6fl/fl Gzmb-cre to Bcl6fl/fl mice on DPI 8 (Fig 2C), and the number and percentage of tumor-infiltrating TCF1+CD44+ CD8 T cells between these two groups on DPI 8 were also comparable (Fig 2D), suggesting that knocking out BCL6 during CD8 T-cell activation may slightly influence their stemness and memory differentiation.
