Based on publicly available data, the risk allele of lead variants at the TTN and MTSS1 loci identified in the meta-analysis for all-cause HF were associated with increased risk of atrial fibrillation (AF) [33] at a Bonferroni-corrected significance level of 9.6x10-4 (0.05/52) for testing four loci and thirteen traits (S10 Table). This evidence concerns the gene MTSS1 and atrial fibrillation.
