Initially described in neuropathies predominantly affecting DRG sensory neurons such as SNN and SFN (4, 5), anti-FGFR3 antibodies have now also been detected in chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy, motor neuropathy, trigeminal neuropathy, FMS and patients with corneal neuropathic pain when using commercial anti-FGFR3 testing (8, 15, 21, 31, 32). Here, FGFR3 is linked to chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy.
